“Landing” is a collaborative community project funded by the National Arts Council that invites people to ground themselves through the act of creating with our land. Through the mediums of natural pigments, foraging, and body movement, we held a series of four community sessions at a coastal area in Singapore, as a space to hold deep bodily expressions on how we can “land” ourselves, as well as our intimate relationship with nature.
This project took root in October 2021 with our friend and body movement artist Ong Cheryl, and the sessions were held in the early part of 2022. We hope to bring back and grow the community of Land Artists when the season arrives again.
